Traditional keyboards were designed with the numeric keypad and navigation area on the right. That layout made sense in earlier computing history, but modern users often rely heavily on the mouse.
For designers, accountants, engineers, traders, office users, and gamers, frequent switching between keyboard and mouse slows the workflow and increases fatigue in the right hand, shoulder, and neck.
ZEYI rethinks that old layout. By moving key functional areas to the left side, users can type, input numbers, and keep the mouse in the right hand at the same time.

In my daily work, I needed to input numbers frequently. With a traditional keyboard, the left hand had to reach to the right side, forcing the body into an awkward position. If I used my right hand instead, it constantly switched between the keyboard and the mouse — efficiency dropped, and fatigue built up.
This problem is not unique. Most people naturally use the mouse with their right hand. CAD designers, cost engineers, accountants, and office users repeat the same inefficient actions every single day.
What if the numeric keypad and navigation keys were placed on the left side?
I searched the market. There was no suitable product in China. Some existed overseas, but the price was high. At the same time, many people were actively searching for such a keyboard. The demand existed. It simply had not been addressed.
Since the first model in 2017, ZEYI has built a complete product system — holding multiple patents, software copyrights, and design rights. Our products are exported to the US, UK, France, Germany, Northern Europe, and Japan.
